Artist Statement
The lack of permanence is what draws me both to theatre and lighting.  I love making work that, like us, is temporary and changes.  My work ranges from traditional theatrical lighting design, exhibit design, lighting for camera, theatre for young audiences and community art engagement.  I believe that theatre and storytelling is an intrinsic part of our societal fabric and an essential tool to teach agency, empathy and citizenship to all members of society. I consider myself a creative problem solver and find that most of my energy and excitement revolves around collective story telling.
